Have seven altars around circle covered with altar cloth of chakra color- two women at each.  Each altar also holds a chalice and a tray with feast.

The "Black Hole" - At one end, or off to the side of the Circle have a "tunnel" made from black sheets tied to the trees.  Have ribbons - streamers, stars - whatever hanging from the cords decorating this "tunnel."

As women come into circle give each seven colored disks - seven colors of rainbow

Invocation of the Elements

  Take salt and circle around sprinkling about, returning to the North and say,

  Mother of us all, in your majestic home in the North,

We place our lives in your lap of abundance.

We seek the wisdom of our grandmothers

That our service may be in keeping with your will.

Bless these rites with the sweet kiss that sustains us.

Take water and circle around sprinkling about returning to the West and say ...

  Rhythmic, tidal swells, deep from the ocean floor,

Wash clean the depths of our spirits.

So that we might serve Her,

Fill our hearts with the clear fresh newness

Of a mountain stream's invigorating splash

Take glitter and sprinkle and circle around sprinkling it about and the come back to the South and say ...

  Blazing fires of the South, stir our senses.

Awaken the passions burning within us.

Dance with us, the ecstatic dance of joy.

Enlighten, like embers, the burning coals of our hearts,

That love might enflame us in Her Service.

Take bells and circle once around ringing back to the East and say ...

Sweet breezes blowing in from the East, be with us now.

Pale golden sunrise, skies streaked with brilliant color

Illuminate our minds.

Free our vision from the dark clouds of resistance.

Fill our soul's longing for Her with your radiance

At this point I will speak to all of the women to tell them what we are doing and what I need for them to do...

Each and every one of you is a glorious star, capable of shining with utter radiance.  Often we are unable to find the inner light.  We know it is there but we have built up obstacles - walls that surround us and keep us in darkness.  Keep us from radiating out to the world our true essence.  So, the working of our Circle tonight is about becoming that Star, releasing the blocks, the barriers, those behavior patterns, emotional blockages that hide our true selves, hide the light that lies within waiting to burst forth in multi-colored radiance.  We will take you through seven stages - strip you bare at each altar - find the core that is you, your own true Goddess Self.

Priestesses move to their altars which are spaced evenly around outer edge of Circle - in turn each priestess in each pair  at her altar speaks to them -When each pair has finished speaking all the women in the Circle take the colored disk of that color and go to a cauldron in the center of the circle and as they either think or say what they are releasing, they drop the disk into the cauldron.

Red - Survival

I am here to ask you to release something tonight that keeps you in survival mode.  What kind of emotional/behavioral problems are you dealing with?  Procrastination? Laziness? Greed? Panic attacks? Do you fear that tomorrow will not provide a home for you - food for you - shelter from the heat or cold?

  Do you fear that there is not enough abundance in this world that you can't share in the wealth?  Take you red disk to the center cauldron and release your fears - let go of your need to act out behaviors that stop you from sharing in all that is yours in the universe!

Orange - Creative Center - Sexuality

I am here to ask you to release that which keeps you from being the creative goddess that you are.  What secret longings do you hold within yourself that you cannot let go, that keep you from enjoying the thrill of your own sexual nature and your own creative power?

Do you carry guilt?  Anxiety? Old tapes? Do you fear loss of control? Do you feel unworthy of pleasure?  Not good enough to create? Take your orange disk to the center cauldron and release that which binds you.  Release it so that you might be that awesome, wild sexual woman that you are!

Yellow -  Power

I am here to ask you to release those things that bind you to weakness.  Those issues within you that keep you from being a strong willed, and powerful witch who can use her will to transform her life!  Do you carry old anger?

Do you blame everyone else for your problems? Do you have control issues that you need to let go of?  Take your yellow disk to the cauldron and release that which binds your personal power!

Green - Love - Relationships

I am here to help you find all the love that is yours by right.  You were made to love and be loved.  What is it that blocks you from having what should be yours? Do you fear love?

  What keeps you from finding joy in life?  Set your spirit free, seek love, and give love.  Take your green disk to the cauldron and release those fears, open the gates and let love in - now!

  Sky Blue  Communication

I am with you tonight to help you to release those things that keep you from sharing good communication with others.  Is it shyness that holds you back?  Are you afraid of expressing yourself to others?  Do you fear that they will not approve if you do?

Are you perhaps to harsh in speaking to others?  Do you read into what others say instead of really listening?  Take your sky blue chip to the center cauldron and let go of something that keeps you from sharing in intimate communion with others.

 Indigo - Intuition

I am here to help you remove blockages to inner awareness.  Why do you feel the need to control your thoughts? Did you always second-guess what happens to you?

Do you have difficulty listening to your own inner voice?  Do you not trust in that inner voice?  Take your indigo chip to the center cauldron and release that which holds you back from knowing and seeing what the Goddess reveals to you.

Purple - Connection with Goddess

I would like to help you find ways to release those things that keep you from feeling total connection to Goddess.  Being With Goddess is Being Goddess.  Do you have self-esteem issues?  Do you not feel worthy?

All life is sacred and all life is Goddess - You are Goddess!  What keeps you from feeling and knowing you are divine? Now is the time to let go and release anything that you believe, any old thought patterns - anything that stands in the way of knowing that You Are Goddess!

Take your purple chip and place it in the cauldron.  As you let it go, see all that stands in your way leave with it.  Offer yourself to Her service, as She would have you serve.  Open yourself to love and light and know that you are She. Do it Now!

Join hands with me now, as we walk slowly into the void.  Let us step into a universal "black hole" and trust that as we reach the other side, new life, new awareness will come to us and we will indeed "shine" with Her light! 

We will walk slowly clockwise around the circle and enter the "black hole."  As each emerges from the "black hole" they are given a crown of golden stars and a sparkler (which they then light) and they are instructed to "rush into life!"  They all should run around the circle "playing" with their sparkler until it extinguishes.  

Charge of the Star Goddess

     Hear the words of the Star Goddess, the dust of whose feet are the hosts of heaven, whose body encircles the universe:

(ask all to join in!)

     "I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters, I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me.  For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe.  From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return.  Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold - all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals.  Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.  And you who seek to know Me, know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without.  For behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire."

Feast - each of the seven pairs of priestesses serve their feast from their altar - each woman is given a choice of what it is she needs in this feast - she asks and she receives - the idea being that she can allow herself to trust herself in that she will know what she needs and also to trust her sisters for meeting those needs.

In chalice - coconut milk and pineapple juice and choice of foods to include - honey - small cakes - crackers - fruits - like strawberries grapes - priestess will feed each woman with her fingers.

   May our feast bring all that we need.  May our choices be guided by Her hand and may we always trust in the love She offers.

Each Priestess holding the feast (food tray) will speak to each woman saying,

"Tell me what you wish to have from this tray of desire I will serve to satisfy that desire.

 After they have eaten, say,

"May you trust that all your needs will be met."

Each Priestess holding the chalice will say,

"Drink of the sweet milk of the Goddess" 

After they have sipped, say,

"May She nurture you so, always ...  Blessed Be."

Release of the Circle
